Exactly the right thing for this year's ski and snowboard free time on the Feldberg of the Robert Schuman Realschule from Achern. Very friendly, helpful and well organized hosts made for a very pleasant stay. Absolutely clean rooms, delicious food and a great ski hut flair. Happy again next year!

Essen, accessibility from the mountain good, due to the visibility from the Grafenmattlift. Well filled at lunchtime, better come a little later when the storm is over. Friendly staff, also open for special requests when the hut is empty (own experience).

Nice hut, nice people, currywurst / fries with bockwurst but still good. The only thing I don't understand: Why does the table for the litter get the most beautiful sun place on the terrace?

Were there for lunch, if you come early enough you get a great place and it is quick. Value for money was absolutely fine and we would go back.

The hut is perfectly located on the slopes and not far from the bus stop. Rooms were simple but clean. (Hut standard) The hosts were very nice and attentive to us. The food is good with soup, salad and main course and more than we expected. We can only recommend the hut for nice people who are looking for a mountain hut. Not the last time for us. lunch break Nothing against lunch break. But we were at the counter at 2:35 p.m. and had to hear in a very clear uncompromising tone that the kitchen had been closed for 5 minutes. No bratwurst, nothing more possible. When I asked whether this is the case at all of the huts, the unreliable answer "I don't know." I don't have to carry my money to such an unfriendly place. How about a large sign on the piste that informs about the opening times of the hut and the kitchen? Then I don't have to go to the hut first, take off my skis, helmet, jacket, everything off, and then get a rebuff at the counter. I almost took the yeast dumplings on offer. But as so often in life: the sound makes the music.

nice view, very good value for money

Only stayed in the restaurant, didn't stay there. Food ok for a ski hut. Prices high. Path to the terrace was icy, bad to walk with soup. Comment: "Nature protection must not be salts." 1 minute working with a shovel would have solved the problem but was probably too much effort.

How to imagine a ski hut. Cozy rustic ambience, nice innkeepers and food to fill you up. Just the right thing to strengthen yourself for the second half day on the slopes. Therefore full marks.

I am the teacher of stormyark and I can not share his objection at all. We were very well received with the class and the owner was very friendly! Also, the food was very good. I will definitely come back with another class !!

For these reasons one should not visit this hut: on the blanket and on the bed were again yellow spots to see, the windows were broken, the owner was rude. There were very strict rules, it was often impossible to live out his freedoms. I liked the location, though. The food was still relatively delicious.

Only ate at restaurant, great view, nice food, reasonable value

Food (spaghetti 8 €, Currywurst with fries 7,50, Kaiserschmarren 5,50 €) for a reasonable price and if you go at 11:30, then you have also a place ?

Very nice place and great hospitality. Compared to a hotel, the bedrooms are a bit small and you share the bathroom with everybody else. But everything is very clean and it feels more like a home than a hotel does. Breakfast and dinner are nice and very plentiful, you definitely won't leave the table hungry. The hut is located uphill on the ski slopes, so it's easy to stop by to have a break, drink or lunch during the day. Unbeatable value for that money.

We were the only guests here and enjoyed the peace.

poor service: we got short changed by 2 euros, and it's so busy there isn't much you can do about it. Given that the food wasn't anything particularly special, and they are already charging you a fortune as this restaurant is on the slopes, this was especially galling. Avoid if possible, the queues are just as long as in the valley.
